350 Linden Wilmette – Wayfarer Foundation 

The Wayfair Foundation project involved the adaptive reuse of an existing building located at the intersection of Fourth and Linden in downtown Wilmette. The project began when the client sought assistance in transitioning into their newly purchased space. I initially had the opportunity to serve as their owner’s representative and later took on the role of general contractor, where my responsibilities included overseeing design, permitting, and construction. Additionally, in collaboration with the Village of Wilmette, we managed the planning process for signage. I continue to enjoy my relationship with the client, working on additional projects in and around their space, as well as maintaining their building.

Serving in these roles for their client we were able to move expeditiously through the process and deliver their space in the minimal time frame which was the goal of getting from their current rented space into their new home.
